Sasha Dorje Meyerowitz

Chief Operating Officer

“I didn’t resonate with storytelling naturally, so I’ve brought a critical eye to our marketing. What I love about working here is that, incrementally, I’ve been convinced at the raw power and benefit of storytelling. Given the chance, I’ll even tell you mine!”

Sasha Dorje Meyerowitz joined Narativ in 2016. Working closely with Jerome Deroy, together they’ve transitioned the company to a sharp focus on onboarding. The personal, social, and cultural dimension of storytelling fits perfectly with the need organizations have to hold and also evolve their culture. Culture, like stories, is influenced from within and without, inseparable from tellers and listeners, always changing. What stories do especially well is personalize what might seem amorphous and abstract. They can also unearth new information that executives might want to include in the ever-evolving narrative of the organization.

Sasha’s background is in marketing, photography and film. He worked as a Director of Photography in the 90’s in New York and Denver, ran a boutique creative agency with his wife, Tatjana Krizmanic, and then joined Narativ. He has served as a Vice President in the Tibetan Buddhist organization, Mangala Shri Bhuti, since 1999. He also helped start ARC: Artists Respond to Crisis during the Covid-19 pandemic.
